Blackjack Single Player Brief OverviewBlackjack Single Player is classic casino game released by Playtech that as always gladdens its players with superb graphics and additional options. This kind of blackjack is played with 6 standard decks of 52 cards. It should be observed that after each round used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled. As it well known, the object in blackjack is to beat the dealer that is to say to outpoint him but not to score over 21 points. You win when you have Blackjack – a combination of 2 cards equal 21 points. Note that you win 1.5 times your bet if you get Blackjack. You also win on condition that the total value of your cards is closer to the 21 than the dealer’s one. In this case you win your bet amount. But you “bust” and lose your bet if the total of your cards is more then 21. In case if you and the dealer are even-steven, you win and your bet is returned to you in a push. You can choose from different coin nominals: $0.01, $0.10, $0.50, $1.00, $5.00, $10.00, $25.00. The minimum is $0.01, the maximum one is $300. Blackjack Single Player Rules and StrategyAs any casino game, Blackjack Single Player has its rules and exceptions, for example, you are dealt with 2 cards face up while the dealer is dealt with 2 cards, one of which face up and the other face down. The dealer draws an additional card when the total of his cards is 16 or less. The dealer stands when the total of his cards is 17 (including soft 17) or more. Double You can double your bet of you are sure that you will be able to beat the dealer when the third card will be dealt. Pay attention, if you decide to double and the dealer’s first card is Ace and the dealer gets Blackjack, you will lose both your bets. If the dealer’s first card is of value 10 and the dealer has blackjack, the player gets the Double bet back. Split If your first cards dealt are of the same value, you may split them into two separate hands. But pay attention that you must place the additional bet on the second hand equal your initial bet. Then you can draw cards on each of the hands. Note that if you split two aces, you can draw only one card on each hand. In case if you get an ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it won’t be considered Blackjack, but just 21. The player can’t split a split hand but he can double after the splitting. Insurance You can choose this option if the dealer’s first card is Ace. In other words, you have chance to insure your bet against him having a blackjack. In this case you should place an additional bet equal half of your initial bet. If the dealer has Blackjack, you will lose nothing because the insurance pays 2 to 1. But if the dealer doesn’t have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount. 10 Card Charlie It is a particular rule that acts when the player draws 10 cards without exceeding 21. In this case player’s hand automatically wins excepting when the dealer has Blackjack. |
