Blackjack Surrender Single Player Rules and Strategy

Blackjack Surrender Single Player has almost the same rules as Blackjack Single Player. In the very beginning of the game you are dealt with two cards, both face up. The dealer is dealt with two cards, one face up, one face down. The dealer plays on the following principle: he goes on playing if the total of his cards is 16 or less and he stands when the total of his cards is 17 (including soft 17) or more.

Double

Double option allows you to double your stakes and, thus your future win. You should Double only in case if you are sure that you will beat the dealer. If the dealer has Blackjack and his first card is Ace, you will lose your double bet. In case if the dealer has Blackjack and his first card is 10, you will get Double Bet back.

Split

If you want to multiply your chances to win, you can also choose Split option. It requires additional bet equal your initial bet. Thus, Split option allows you to have an additional hand. In case if you get an Ace and ten value card, this combination won’t be considered Blackjack, but just 21. If you split Aces, you can draw only one card for each hand.

Surrender

As it was discussed, this special option allows you to get the half of your bet back. You should choose Surrender if you think that first two cards dealt won’t allow you to beat the dealer. If you surrender, your hand automatically loses, but you save the half of your bet.

Insurance

This option is good when the dealer’s first card is Ace. Insurance implies additional bet equal your initial bet. To be more exact, you gamble on the dealer’s Blackjack. In case if the dealer has Blackjack, you will lose nothing, but if he hasn’t Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount.
